A Day in the Life
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for assisting with all food and beverage service for the club. Directly supervises all food and beverage staff including service staff and beverage cart staff. Hires, trains, and supervises subordinates. Applies relevant marketing principles to assure that the wants and needs of guests are consistently exceeded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement staffing schedules to ensure customer service standards are achieved with minimum employee cost. Monitor activities to ensure compliance with Company payroll policies and procedures.
  • Ensure maintenance of all appropriate sanitation standards including, but not limited to, employee hygiene and uniforms, kitchen food service equipment and preparation areas, food storage areas, receiving areas, washing areas, dining areas, patio, snack bar areas, bar areas, restrooms, and beverage carts.

The Banquet Captain oversees banquet functions and provides leadership and direction to banquet staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.

A Day in the Life
The Banquet Chef is responsible for food production needed for banquet functions and private parties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage food production including menu planning, costing, execution, and employee supervision for banquet functions.

  • Maintain and make general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation systems and building structures of the club.
  • Maintain the air conditioning, refrigerators, ice makers and pool pumps.

Under general supervision, the Mechanic repairs all equipment associated with course maintenance department. Responsibilities also include planning and implementing a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment, assisting in the training of staff in safe use and proper care and maintenance of assigned equipment, and advising the Superintendent regarding major equipment failures and/or replacement needs.

The Outside Servicer Attendant will assist with the management of daily golf operations including managing and tracking play, working cohesively with golf staff, assisting with all merchandising functions, assist with tournaments and junior golf, and provide other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide unmatched services to members and own the podium.
  • Train others on a consistent basis and communicate with golf staff accordingly.
  • Member Services - greeting members & guests at their vehicles or in cart staging, engaging each mem­ber & guest with a smile and polite communication, assisting them in any way before heading out on the course.
  • Understand the entire operation thoroughly with a basic understanding of all club rules and regulations along with golf shop rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Golf Cart Fleet Management - maintain a fleet of 64 golf carts, daily rotation of carts to ensure proper usage, bi-monthly maintenance of batteries and tires, and overall cleanliness of all carts daily.
  • Range Management- this includes setting up in the morning, assisting members and guests before the start of play, making sure the range is organized in a tidy manner, picking/cleaning of all practice balls dai­ly, and breaking down everything before the end of the day.
  • Inventory of supplies - you will be asked to monitor the inventory levels of such items as tees, scorecards, pencils, towels, and ball markers to ensure that we do not run out of these frequently used items.
  • Communicate with the maintenance team and professional staff daily to ensure proper setup.
  • Maintain a neat, organized, and clean area in the cart barn, staging area, and practice facility. 
  • Assist in the execution of special events with the golf professional staff.
  • Work to resolve pace of play issues and solves them as needed.

  • Prepare items required for workstation according to par sheets or instructions from Sous Chef.
  • Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items required for line and special function purposes as assigned.
  • Carefully follow standard recipes when pre-preparing and preparing all items.

The Sous Chef serves as the “second-in-command” of the kitchen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in supervising food production for all food outlets, banquet events and other functions at the club.
  • Prepare or directly supervise kitchen staff responsible for the daily preparation of soups, sauces and “specials” to ensure that methods of cooking, garnishing and portion-sizing are as prescribed by club’s standard recipes.
  • Assist the Executive Chef with monthly inventories, pricing, cost controls, requisitioning and issuing for food production.
  • Conduct daily raw cost tracking counts to ensure that all items are accounted for.
  • Assume complete charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.
  • Assist Executive Chef with supervision and training of employees, sanitation and safety, menu planning and related production activities.

The Starter is responsible for helping the control pace of play on the golf course by directing players to the first tee in a timely and orderly fashion. Responsibilities may also include informing golfers on the rules of the course, on-course safety and etiquette, and the expected duration of playing time.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome all golfers. Provide information regarding golf course conditions, local rules, expected playing time, golf course safety and emergency procedures, golf course etiquette, and other golf-related issues.
  • Verify that all revenues have been properly recorded by inspecting receipts for all players before they depart to the golf course, practice tee or range.
  • Assist players as necessary including ensuring that players’ golf bags are securely placed in carts and distributing scorecards, pencils, and local rules of play.  Assist golf shop staff in accommodating golfers’ needs as appropriate.
  • Record golf car assignments and assist the outside golf staff in the assignment and control of golf cars.
  • Review and maintain time sheets to anticipate playing time problems.  Monitor turn times and keep the golf shop staff and golf course rangers informed regarding potential speed of play issues.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of the starter’s area.
  • Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, location of emergency equipment, and reporting procedures. Provide emergency assistance to golfers and other guests as necessary according to Company procedures.
  • Assist golf shop staff in preparing for and running tournaments, clinics, and other special events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school education preferred.
  • Familiarity with rules of golf and golf course etiquette.
  • Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including weekends.
  • Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations

A Day in the Life
The Valet Attendant is responsible for parking and retrieving cars for guests. The Valet service operates Thursday-Saturday from 5:00 PM -10:00 PM, in addition to special events and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they arrive.
  • Help guests in and out of cars; opens lobby doors.
  • Issue and collect car claim tickets.
  • Maintain clean and safe entrances and parking lots.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • No moving violations or minor incidents within the past three years and no major incidents (e.g., DUI) within the past five years

Salary

  • $12 / hour + tips
